About Me
Long before obtaining his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence from the University of Malta, Mark had always shown passionate love for everything that is technological.
Prior to enrolling at the University of Malta, he had already been selected for a number of key positions within various commercial entities. Following his exit from the University of Malta he was chosen to lead NIU, an award-winning website development company based in the Mediterranean, a position he held until 2015.
Subsequently, he spent two years working as a Senior Full-Stack Developer at TheStudentCampus; a unique, intuitive and safe platform which positions students at the heart of the education arena, designed and developed by world-class professionals and academics. His job required him to cross-functionally work with an incredible group of people within the Product and Marketing teams, scrutinizing tiny details which all made a huge impact on how we learn and share knowledge.
Mark played a vital role within every core development team he was a member of. His different roles entailed building, scaling and maintaining platforms in a continuous, deployment production environment. Mark is also renowned for showing deep care about the entire process and the quality of everything delivered.
